September 12th, 2008 KTRM will begin streaming live sports broadcasts on September 13th, 2008. We will also begin streaming our weekend public affairs programming such as BackTalk, the Bulldog Sports Show, KTRM news updates and electoral debates on September 14th. With KTRM's streaming audio webcast, you can listen to The Edge while you surf the web. Click on the image to the left to listen to KTRM live at 20 kbits/sec with QuickTime 6. Installing QuickTimeIf the Edge logo hasn't appeared in the box to the left, then QuickTime is probably not installed on your computer. The latest version of QuickTime can be downloaded for free from the Apple website. Please note that KTRM webcasts with a QuickTime 6 stream, so if you are running an older version of QuickTime you may need to upgrade. Enjoy the stream! April 19th, 2008 The online stream is temporarily unvailable due to pending legal issues which would make it very difficult for small non-commercial stations like ourselves to stream online legally. For more information regarding these legal issues, please refer to the following article in the September 4th, 2008 issue of The Index. We are currently considering streaming some of our original weekend programming (e.g. BackTalk, Bulldog Sports broadcasts, etc.) We will keep you posted as to when these streaming broadcasts might become available. Sorry for the inconvenience, and for the best of college radio keep tuning into 88.7 The Edge. Thanks, KTRM Web team |
